Simon shook his head in amusement as he entered the doctor’s office after asking about him from the nurses. He is their family doctor, after all, and everyone in that section knows the Onwurahs.

“Curse this damn hip bone with its infernal pain. Ehn, just a small fall, and I have to be carted about. There was a time that a fall like this wouldn’t even stop me from jogging the next morning. Ah, this life,” Mrs. Onwurah muttered to herself as she gingerly lifted herself off the toilet seat. She had to admit to herself that the pain was surely increasing, but of course, she would never tell them. That would only give them more opportunity to pester her. She thought as she readjusted her dress and came out of the toilet stall.
