Chapter 265. Some Privacy
“To see you has become quite a chore these days, I almost drafted an appointment letter to drop at your shop,” Henrietta said as she came to sit down with Marissa, cooing to her youngest, whom she had at her waist. She had heard the baby wake up from the baby monitor, and she had told her friend to hold on while she got the baby. Marissa stretched her hand to take the baby. Henrietta patted his butt as she said, “Sorry it took us a while to get back; Bobo woke up wet, so I had to change his diaper and then feed him,” and I had a mission to accomplish as well. She thought as she smiled at her friend.
Marissa cooed at the baby, “Look at my boy getting bigger every day. How is our Somtochukwu doing today? Ain’t you the most beautiful baby?” The baby cooed back at her with a grin, as if in agreement with what she said. Then, Marissa replied to his mother, “You know it is not like that, na; I have been super busy these days, coupled with the fact that I’ve not been feeling fine.”
