Chapter 338. Richard Did Not

Heat washed through Tomiwa’s system at the sound of that gravelly voice that had become as familiar to her as her voice. Chill followed the heat rush as she remembered how easy it was for that same voice to make her lose her guard.

“Dhia…Hello,” the voice repeated. He seemed to have realized that the person on the phone didn’t understand what he said, so he changed it to English.

Of course, Tomiwa remembered. How could she forget the first word he had said to her?

She realized that she had to answer before he disconnected the call. She cleared her throat noiselessly.

“Hel...lo,” she said, blinking when she heard the sound of disconnection in her ear. Toh…toh…toh.

“What? He disconnected?” She muttered as she shook the phone, as it would transfer to the dense man who dared to disconnect the call on her.
