Agnes looked back and plucked the note off the door. She gave it to Tomiwa “Could it be that it was Madam that dropped it? Why did she not wake me?” She asked as she stretched her neck to see what Tomiwa was reading.
“He is awake, Agnes. The boss is awake. I felt you were sleeping, and I did not want to wake you up. Please help me prepare Emma for school tomorrow in case I do not get back in time. If all goes well, Bernard should be home soon as well. I will see you tomorrow. Good night” Tomiwa read the content of the note out loud.
“Ah ah. That means she came here. Why did she not wake me up then? Ah, I would have at least gone with her even though I cannot drive,” Agnes said guiltily when she remembered that she had heard something like a door opening.
