Unknown: Have you eaten? This is Jaxsen Got your number from Steven.

I ignored his text just as I was about to move it away when it suddenly beeped again.

Jaxsen: Can I call?

I was about to kick his message out when he texted again even though I hadn’t answered yet.

Jaxsen: I just want to say hello to the baby, but if you don’t want to, just reply to my messages and I’m good with it.

I don’t know but I can see his face in my mind when he says this in person. I stroked my stomach before sighing and calling him myself.

“Hello?” I whispered on the other line when he answered it.

A few seconds passed before he spoke. His heavy breaths caught on the line.

“What’s your plan tomorrow?” He asked softly but there was a hint of tenderness in his voice.

I sighed before I shook my head. My heart suddenly tightened.

“That’s how my day goes Jaxsen. Nothing will change.”

He smirked. “Chill, I’m just asking… Can I go there tomorrow?”
