Chapter 39

A hot liquid in my hand slowly wakes up my whole system until that liquid follows in my hands.

I slowly opened my eyes, and I only saw white. I am the kind of person who is close to disaster, so I know where I am now. I can’t move. Only my eyes are moving now.

My gaze flew to the man beside me. He sobbed while holding my hands. I wanted to caress his hair but couldn’t move my body.

“Dad…” I said softly, but enough for him to hear that.

I saw how his eyes widened even though he wore glasses and his lips parted so wide. He immediately called a doctor and nurse.

The nurses and doctors entered one after the other, followed by Jaxsen, Steven, Elisse, and Leona. I could see in their eyes the tiredness and worry.

Jaxsen immediately came to my side even though the male nurse forbade him, but he ignored it as if it was just wind to him.

“Love…” He whispered.

Many pipes fell on me, and I have a cast on my left arm where I used to write. My left
