Chapter 69
It was a long day. I went home to the Howard mansion yesterday. I went straight to Kameron’s room and tucked myself into the bed.
Little by little, I lost my appetite for everything.
I had just delivered food to the room, and I was shocked that Kameron’s father had brought the food I had the house chef cook.
His eyes narrowed after he placed the food tray in front of me. “Why don’t you come down?”
“My whole body felt so sore, Dad.” Then I shook my head, acting like I was dizzy.
He nodded slowly. “You are going to be a Cooper tomorrow—”
I chuckled a bit. “Dad, let’s save our tears for tomorrow!”
He laughed at what I said and ruffled my hair slightly. “Okay, you said it. I’m going to rest for tomorrow; go to bed early, Kameron.” He bought it before leaving the room.
I sighed before eating, my stomach growling because I forgot to eat lunch.
