I told Elisse I was going to the bar counter, and the witch grinned at me as if she knew what I was thinking earlier. I just shook my head before I left them.

Carrying my pouch, I went to the bar counter. I walked up there, and whenever I passed a table, someone whistled, and I liked it more tonight.

“One cocktail!” I ordered at the bartender, who was also handsome.

I was slightly head-banging as I looked around. I don’t know a single one! I have my high standards, too, regarding my boy toy! I don’t pick and choose. Yuck! I don’t want to get an STD!

My attention was caught while sipping a cocktail by a woman who suddenly approached me. She had just passed by, and when she saw me, she came closer.

“Kameron Howard…?”

I nodded to her and waved slightly.

“It’s you! Remember me? One of your classmates in college but probably not, because you’re a killjoy!”

My lips pursed. She looks like she is pouring a cocktail!
