Chapter 78. Crossing Unspoken Lines
Amanda suddenly pulled away, her initially pathetic eyes were suddenly filled with anger and she looked fierce.
“Wills, what are you doing?” Her voice trembled.
Wills realized his mistake immediately and felt a pang of regret. “I…I’m” he stuttered.
Amanda stood up, her anger evident in her expression. She took to her heels immediately.
“Amanda! Amanda!” He called after her, taken aback by her reaction.
“Shit!” Wills yelled before running after her. By the time he got to the house, Amanda had entered the room where her mother was. Wills only heard her close the door behind her.

The following morning, Wills was already dressed for work while the children were still preparing for school.
Amanda was the last person to wake up. When she came out of the room, she seemed not to understand things going on in the house with everyone rushing to get one or two things done.
“Why does this feel like a marketplace?” She asked herself.
