Chapter 115
We were quiet for a while while I got dressed. Then I heard his footsteps approaching me, heavy on the carpet, and I stayed very still when he put an arm around my waist, bringing me closer until I felt the hardness of his chest and stomach against my back. With his free hand, he carefully moved my loose, tangled hair to the side. He bent over me, kissing my now exposed shoulder in a slow, loving gesture.
“You recovered very well from this,” he commented, and left more kisses on the parallel scars on my back, shoulder, and arm, with a low growl. “They’re hardly noticeable.”
“It looks like you did a good job with the patches.”
“Will you wait for me?” he suddenly blurted out, in a soft murmur. “The tour will end in a week. I want you back.”
