Chapter 38
Hilda discharged me after a transformation test, which I passed successfully. Returning to human form was effortless, and there was no damage, although there was discomfort and soreness. My broken ribs and other bones had healed quite well, although my arm would need the cast a little longer. I was gaining weight rapidly and my mood was improving. I would have to take some special vitamin complexes for a couple of weeks, but it was standard procedure. The most important thing was that I could be out of a hospital facility by Christmas, the second of my short-term goals.
Returning to human form felt good, normal, somehow.
Above all, because by caressing my children while hugging them, I was able to once again appreciate with my own fingers the texture of their hair and skin, and receive their enthusiastic kisses on the face without annoying hairs.
