Belle’s POV

I was sitting in the center of my cell, eyes closed. Since I was detained, all I’ve done is sit and listen to the sounds around me. I recall the scents of all the creatures around me.

“They’re here,” I declare, hearing the helicopter engine above the building. I smiled as I took a deep breath. This is the moment I’ve been looking forward to. What bothers me is that I haven’t spoken to any of my loved ones. According to Jack, the Grandmaster ordered that no one speak to me.

My cell door opened a few minutes later, and five men entered with their arms pointed at me.

Perhaps they already knew about my abilities, because one of them stabbed me in the neck with a syringe.

“What is that? You don’t have to do that since she won’t fight or run away!” Jack, who had just entered the room, immediately exclaimed, seeing what was done to me.

“As of now, this patient is ours, and you have no authority to intervene. And we’ve already looked into Bell
