“I don’t think here’s safe for any of us anymore, especially Sophia. We need to go. Those spirits might come back and who knows what they’ll do this time.”

James advised, already getting up and stretching out a hand to help Lily on her feet. Derek and Elijah too, got up from their position on the carpet grass. Lucas held me and we both stood up. I looked down at my big toe, the bleeding had stopped and the pain had become slight. My ankle, thanks to Lucas, no longer hurt as much, but I realized I was quite weak.

I peeped inside my satchel to know state of the Blood Emerald, it was blinking. Curious, I brought it out and gasped. I quickly put it back inside.
