Sophia’s POV
The night stretched on endlessly, heavy with silence and the weight of what we had lost. Though Elijah’s words gave me hope, my heart still ached with fear for Lucas. None of us dared to sleep deeply, each sound of the wind making us tense, each shadow in the distance reminding us of the chaos we barely survived.
