"I have not seen Lauren today. Is she finally staying in Caden's office or is she not at work?" I asked an employee that stays in the same office as Lauren.

"No, she is not. Caden said she was not feeling well and he made her stay at home to recuperate." The girl replied.

My lips curved in a smile. It was just the answer I was looking for, Lauren not being at work.

Since it was lunch time, I knew he was eating with Chester in the cafeteria. With a smile, I went to the cafeteria.

I trailed my eyes to his usual seat in the cafeteria but I saw only Chester. I looked around the cafeteria but I did not see him.

I decided to ask Chester about him even if I was not close to Caden.
