Chapter 60

When Lauren had spoken up earlier about the divorce paper being forged, she looked so cool. As she spoke, I just stared at her and my eyes followed every of her mouth movement as she spoke.

For some odd reason, my heart swelled up in pride and I felt like pulling her into a deep kiss but I knew I could not do it because I do not know how Lauren will react especially as we were not in talking terms.

But the more I looked at her, the more I could not hold myself anymore.

“And to be sure we are not lying, watch us to this,” I said and before Lauren could react to what I meant by saying that, I faced her and kissed her directly on the lips.

Everybody gasped and more camera lights flashed noisily at us.

I closed my eyes but I Lauren did not open to me. I opened my eyes and I saw that her eyes were opened in shock and she did not reciprocate the kiss.

I was disappointed. Did she not like me at all?
