Mom’s face was pale too and she had dried tears on her cheeks. It looked like she has been crying.

“Mom?” I called her with a shaky voice.

“Yes, yes baby. Tell me what you want.” She answered almost immediately.

I could no longer hold the tears and they kept pouring out uncontrollably.
