“Yes, he’s actually upset with Aunt Emily, more to trouble his head over such petty things,” said Annalise. “I feel very guilty, Nelson,” she added.
“I know. Hasn’t your aunt called up?” he asked with surprise.
“No, and she hasn’t answered Uncle Edward’s call too,” informed Annalise.
“She’s stretching this too far. Maybe she has other plans,” said Nelson. Annalise nodded. Nelson, however, didn’t like this trick that her aunt was playing. He was sure that she would negotiate with Annalise and take advantage of her guilty conscience. But what exactly would she negotiate with? He did not know.
