Chapter 38. Gearing up for Their Wedding

The whole week passed by, and Drake and Alexis bonded more and more with each passing day. Holly and Rocky were just like their children and they took the utmost care of them. They found a pet daycare center near their home and left the two there when they were away. Finally, it was Friday evening, and Drake drove Alexis, Holly, and Rocky home to Houston. 

They reached just at dinnertime and the whole family greeted them excitedly. Plans were made for going shopping the next day. Drake called Dexter and invited him and his girlfriend as well. The pups, too, were united with their siblings. Happy times were back in the Taylor household. 

“No, no, all the bridesmaids will wear lavender!” said Allison, the leader of the girl gang. Alexis smiled at their enthusiasm. Vienna kept back the pink gown, which she liked with a pout. Sean walked over, picked it up, and walked away.
