Chapter 39. Claire and Nate's Reality

Caney Creek was really a heaven on earth, a secluded paradise, and Drake wanted to take a stroll around the place. They walked hand in hand, leisurely all around the place, inhaling the fresh air. “It’s a lovely place to get married. Don’t you think so?” asked Alexis. 

“Yeah, but my thoughts were more on our wedding night. What do you say to stay back here for our wedding night? The others could leave after the reception party,” suggested Drake. 

“That’s a wonderful idea, but we have a flight the next day,” pointed out Alexis. 

“It’s in the afternoon. We’ll first go home to Austin and dump all these wedding dresses and then go to the airport,” said Drake. 

“Why make it so complicated? Why can’t we go to our apartment after our reception and have our wedding night there? We could then relax and pack for our trip the next morning,” said Alexis.
