Epilogue
The next day, an excited Claire kissed her husband as he started on his brand new job. Afterward, she went to the Golden Crust, Aunt Pauline's bakery. It seemed to be the most happening place in the neighborhood. Claire had never expected it to be such a grand venture. When Aunt Pauline had mentioned it to her last night, she had expected a small shop tucked away in the corner of a residential area. But Golden Crust was far from a small business venture. It was a sprawling shop with two sit-outs, one inside and another right outside it. The most interesting thing was that even at 9 o’clock in the morning, the whole place was teeming with people, having breakfast.
“Wow! This is grand!” said Claire, admiring the place.
“It wasn’t when we started it a few years back. Now we’re contemplating introducing more baked breakfast items seeing the crowd here. If you’re interested, we could do this together,” said Aunt Pauline.
