Chapter 45. Fighting with Her Family

Andrea’s dad trembled with fury as he stood up to face Aries. “That’s none of your business, young man. You are my guest till the wedding is over. Till then, just enjoy your stay here,” he said, walking away from the table, leaving everyone to breathe a sigh of relief. Aries fumed at her dad while Andrea ran to her bedroom, feeling terribly upset. 

“You heard him, Mr. Martin. It’s for her own good,” said Harry Bradford, getting up to go. “Paula, Linda, get Annie ready to meet Brett.” Rob and Gerard Bradford too gave him angry looks and left. 

After they left, Anthony sighed and glanced at a fuming Aries. “Fighting them will get you nowhere.” 

“But I can’t sit back and watch the fun. She’s a bright girl with lots of dreams and aspirations. How can you just watch her getting married to some stranger and end everything she holds dear?” demanded Aries. 

“It’s that way here for everyone, Aries. We’re all wasting our lives,” said a solemn Adria
