Chapter 40. The Most Awaited Day

Vincent’s POV

It’s been forty-eight hours since the last time I saw her because I got occupied with the wedding preparations that we have to finish as much as possible. But today it has finally arrived, I almost thought that it would be difficult to convince her but Carmela did the job very well. I don’t know how she helped her go through with the quick wedding arrangements but somehow I am truly grateful that finally, our wedding vows will be realized.

“I assume you are excited.”

The voice coming from behind me made me turn my head towards its owner. Then I meet eye to eye with my father who stands just a few feet away from me, standing with Carmela beside him. His tailored navy suit compliments the pale blue silk gown that she is wearing, her eyes meet mine and she gives me a warm smile.
