Chapter 77. Her Defense

Ashley’s POV

Before the sun bid goodbye to the forest of the Langstone Palace and took away the rays of light that it bestowed for the day, Maleficus and Beta Derek decided that we show the enemies our strength. I stood behind them who fought hard to keep me behind the walls of the palace, however as I challenge Beta Derek to either fight me or we fight together, the old man Maleficus insisted to follow my orders.

We have a group of warriors already waiting by the roads so the enemies will be seen even before they enter the borders of the Royal pack. My heart is thumping loudly inside my chest as I am standing with my feet bare and only a house dress on. Hundreds of warriors behind my back and another hundreds in the front. We are all ready to shift and defend the Langstone Palace.

“I hate standing here with you Your Majesty, waiting for the enemy to approach is not my thing. I should have stayed in the front roads to meet the first enemy who enters our way.
