Chapter 31. Escaped Death

Carmela’s POV

My feet is moving fast and I am breathing heavily. I’m running for my life. I don’t know since when it all started but all I could remember was this feeling of trying to get away. I know someone is chasing after me and I have to escaped.

I looked around and recognize the place, it is inside a vast forest where Jack and me used to hunt.

Where is he? I couldn’t find my mate! I couldn’t find anyone, all I see is an endless trees and the tall grasses that’s green. I am trying to catch my breath as I stopped and placed my back behind the bark of a huge old tree. I can’t see it for now, that thing that’s running after me. I am not sure what it is but my gut tells me to keep moving and never let it catch me.
