Chapter 57. The Futile Attempt

Carmela’s POV

After a week’s training with the warriors from the cold mountain pack, Jack and I decided to held a grand dinner to welcome their hard work. The Royal pack warriors have improved, in fighting skills and tracking down rogues. All thanks to the training with the cold mountain pack’s warriors.

As I stared at myself in the full length mirror, I couldn’t help but thought how flat my stomach is. No signs of me getting pregnant or carrying an heir, if I have it would have showed in my body. I have on a skin tight evening gown in silver color. With embroidered stones and beads, it glitters and defines my every curve. The slit on the left side made it possible for me to walk comfortably, in my feet is a three inch high heels in same color.

“Are you ready love?”

Jack came inside with a smile. He looked gorgeous in a navy suit, with his muscular body stretching the fabric wonderfully. To me he is the most handsome man I have ever laid my eyes upon.<
