Chapter 3. The Mistake and Consequences

Ashley’s POV

I could not believe what Marga and Maria did, although I was with them but I am entirely against the whole plan. I wanted to kick myself for letting a young lady like Carmela get into trouble just because of my friends who were jealous of her. Carmela is so young and innocent, she actually believed the friendly smile that Marga gave her. She did what she is told in order to fit into our group. I wonder if she’s that desperate to become friends with us and why.

“Are you sure it’s alright to leave Carmela like that after the drinks?”
