Seris’s POV
I found myself suspended in a surreal, ethereal landscape, standing waist-deep in a shallow pool of dark, glass-like water. It was a place that felt outside of time, where the laws of the physical world seemed to bend and blur. Gentle, rhythmic ripples lapped against my thighs with a soft cadence, their liquid touch tickling the sensitive skin of my neck as I remained still. My hair, long and untethered, floated around me in the subtle currents of the pool, moving like silk through the air. Beneath the obsidian surface, my skin appeared unnaturally pale, glowing with a soft, iridescent light that mirrored the luminous orb of the moon hanging directly above.
