Chapter 31. The Seal

Gael was waiting for them, furious. He just looked at Cybele and she followed him after saying goodbye to Kevin with a shy wave of her hand.

"Why don't you marry Catlyn, and have a child with her? Why do you want my first son? He won't have your blood, he won't..."

Gael stopped and it was so sudden that Cybele bumped into him and almost fell, but he held her up. She saw images of her naked, but it was too quick, as he pulled away before the connection was firm enough for her to understand.

"You don't want to be part of us, Cybele. I see no reason for you to know all our secrets, since you're not staying." He said and resumed his walk.

"What about you, Gael? Have you ever really wanted me?"

"Yes."

"What did I do to make you reject me?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Yes, you do. Ever since the wedding..."
