Chapter 51. The Letter

Kevin took a deep breath.

"I couldn't fool him for a second. He knows everything. He's always known everything."

"Everything?"

"About our involvement, about our desires and about what you know about your children."

Cybele felt sad.

"I'll never see my children again..."

"Yes, you will. He thought it best that they be raised by their mother, but he demanded that they not be seen. Once you've made your decision, I'll explain how it's going to be done with the children."

Cybele frowned suspiciously.

"Gael said that? Is he going to give up his children?"

Kevin took an envelope out of his pocket and held it out to her.

"Yes. But only after you've read this."

"And if I refuse..."

"Don't be stubborn. This is no sacrifice. I'll leave you alone. A silver wolf and a brown wolf will stand at the
