Chapter 59. Surrendered
Cybele no longer knew how long she had been stuck eating bread and water. She had lost count of the days.
The cell she was put in had padded walls and floors, except for the entrance, which was a double-sided mirror. There was a bathroom with no door and inside it, just a toilet on the floor, so she couldn't pull it out, as it was like a hole and the shower was just small holes in the ceiling, which she pressed an almost imperceptible button on the wall to turn on and then off. She didn't feel very comfortable using the bathroom, as she knew that anyone outside could see her.
The first few days she tried to break the mirror, but it was armored. She shouted for the others and when all she heard was silence, she understood that she was in a soundproof place.
She showed her middle finger to the mirror every day when she heard them opening the door to drop off their bread and water.
Cybele was furious at Gael's audacity. He couldn't leave Alfa
