Jake and Crystal were perplexed by Felix’s statement.
However, more than finding out what Mercedes was other than a human being, they were worried about her current state. She was not giving signs of life and her pulse was weakening with each passing second. Suddenly, Mercedes jolted up and gasped for air like rising from the dead.
