Chapter 19

Felix and Mercedes were sleeping soundly on her bed. Felix woke up first and was pleased to see his mate sleeping on his bare chest. Her hot breath provided him with warmth, and he made sure not to move. He did not want to disturb her sleep and lose the beautiful sight he was marveling at. Her hair was repealed on his chest and some of it covered his face, so he pushed it behind her so he could see her face.

Looking at her, his thoughts traveled back to last night’s events. He almost had all of her, but with great willpower, he pulled back and stopped himself. He wanted their first time to be special.

He heard her light snores, and he smiled at how cute it sounded. After some time of staying still to let her sleep, she began to awaken from her peaceful slumber.
