Since the day Horace was brought back, nothing has happened. As Alexa predicted, something was brewing. This was the calm before the storm. She could feel it. Hell, it was chilly as ice. They had no way of knowing what Drakoen was up to, but they couldn't just be sitting ducks. Preparations at Vaughnorths had started, and they had begun to recruit willing students who were strong and wanted to join the fight. Involving the whole academy in the war against Drakoen wouldn't be fair to those who were not up for it. So, to try and make things easier, she asked those who wanted to fight to enlist, like in the military. Her hopes were low at first. Most of the girls were inexperienced and had never engaged in any real-life combat aside from the training they went through in the academy. She wasn't sure if they would want to enlist and risk their lives, but she didn't want to force anyone.
