The plan was in motion. The only thing Isadora had to do was convince the cloaked man that she wanted to go back to their side. She wasn't sure that he would buy the act, but she had to give it a shot. Even so, she couldn't help but be nervous. Not because she was scared but because she was afraid of failing. She didn't want it to fail Alexa anymore.

“You don't have to worry. I would never just ask you to do this by yourself. I will be with you.”

It warmed Isadora to hear that. She could see Alexa's sincerity expressed in her eyes. She was with her and that made her extremely happy. That led her to realize another truth. A truth she fervently chose to ignore and deny. All her life she never dared to admit that truth. Not to anyone and not to herself.
