Mireya is surprised and gulps some water, which amuses Will. I’m pretty calm, calmer than I expected. Mireya approaches the stairs and comes out wiggling. She puts on some sort of robe and stares at me. I don’t say anything either, we hold each other’s gaze, silent.

“Sounds good to me,” he says suddenly with a smile. “What do you need?”

“You know what I want. You are many things, but you’re not dumb,” I tell her calmly.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, my love,” she was teasing me. She knew it and so did I. We had played this game so many times before, there was no excitement.

“I’ll give you one more chance,” I tell him calmly, placing my gun on the table. “Go away.”

“No,” he quickly replies.
