Chapter 15
Myan found that she was unable to move, glued to the floor, and memories from the first time she met him refreshed in her memory. She began to sob as he made his way to her. She wondered how his powers as lord worked and how he sometimes had the ability to control it.
“My lord, please, you have to listen. These are innocent people that have done absolutely nothing…” She cried in defense, but he turned deaf ears to her words.
“Don’t you dare utter another word! It has not even been five days, and yet you think you have a place here, this is complete trash!” He snapped at her. “I’ve made my decision, and believe me – if you or anyone tries to come in my way, I will not hesitate to slay anyone, and you can mark my words.” He let go of her, and she noticed the lightness and control she had regained over her feet.
