*** Solana *** 

The rest of the day was quiet for Solana, although not in her head. The day's most important event was stuck on replay up there - Mark's voice calling her by her first name.  

He hadn't called or asked for anything else after that little meeting. She'd seen him leave the office with his Macbook some two hours after that. He hardly came back to the motel till late at night whenever he left with his laptop, so she didn't expect to see him until tomorrow. Maybe that was good for her. Not maybe. It IS good for me.

She'd spent the rest of the afternoon accomplishing minor tasks such as a brief meeting with the receptionist and the brand ambassadors whose jobs would be over in a few days. And Research on the third-party food service for the motel. It was time to close officially for the day.
