Diane’s POV

My day was bright but not my face as I was still trying to get myself together so that I might not get to meet the cousin who I am sure would love to tease me about yesterday’s happening. After several thoughts and encouragement, I walked out and just after three steps, I came face to face with the man I was running from.

“Good morning Miss Diane, your face doesn’t look so good but I think it will get better as the day goes on. Smile more as well,” he said and I was still frozen as my words became too cold to spit out.
