Chapter 8

Diane’s POV

[Flashback continues]

I read through and I was started. My heart skipped a few beats and I could tell my body system was not coordinating.

“Dad, I called but he ignored me totally!”

I felt it was just a lie and didn’t feel convinced until I opened the letter again and read through it and it was not a dream or hallucination.

It was real!

It’s true!!

My writing was approved by the Alpha’s script man. I never knew Dad was serious when he said he will drop one of my poems for the script man and he did.

“Dad, I love you!” I said and ran to him, I hugged him from his back and it was pretty tight.

“I thought you don’t want to be disturbed by me and now you love me, I doubt that, Diane!” he said and I smiled.

“I am sorry Dad, I just wanted to finish my writing earlier. Thank you so much Dad!” I said and disengaged from the hug and he turned to look at my face.
