The king cleared his throat once more. His actions tempted me to ask if he was okay. I might not be good with healing, but I knew I could help him with his throat in case it was an illness.

"I got a message from Lyxant today."

I grew cold instantly when I heard the mention of my kingdom. Gulping, I looked towards him with my eyes wide as saucers. What sort of message could that be? Had my mates' uncle found ways to contact the dragons?

"A letter from Lyxant?" Riven frowned, sitting up. "What is it they want? Don't tell me the kings need our help?"
