A few days have passed since the commencement of Leah's trial, and several developments have occurred up to this point. Alpha Dave soon returned to White Rose to resume his leadership as alpha. Alpha Dave notified him that they had located Leah, Veronica, Reyes, and Beta Caryn attempting to flee into the realm of humans. They were uncertain about their plans, but they possessed several bags of gold, which they anticipated using and exchanging for cash upon arrival. 

On the day Leah and her followers arrived at the court, their trial commenced. Zachary charged her based solely on the unlawful execution of Luke and Crisela Thorfinn.
