Zachary's POV

Zachary averted his gaze from her, concealing his anguish, and he raked his fingers through his hair, holding it firmly. He never imagined anything could leave him feeling this adrift, but at this moment, witnessing his Luna weep in despair over the loss of their sons left him feeling more disoriented than ever. 

Quietly, he exited the room. He required time to think, organize his ideas, and devise a solution to this predicament. This was not the way he envisioned the day unfolding, yet it had taken this unexpected direction, and they needed to adapt accordingly. 

Leah was responsible for each of these unfortunate events. Upon learning of Leah and Circe's escape from their cell, he contemplated who might have facilitated their flight.
