Chapter 61. A Promise
Rhea’s POV
Sighing I stared up at Daemon who had a stoic expression.
“This doesn’t seem right.”
“Every single thing seems right,” he groaned when reaching for my chin.
But I stepped back leaving his hand hanging, I can see the anger in his eyes. I swallowed, acting unbothered, “Fine, this whole thing is hard to digest, why not you go and I will pay you a visit in two days,” I clasped my hand tight, praying that he would accept.
But his snarl had my hopes crumbled, “Why do you want to play with my intelligent mate?” I gulped at his words, his calling me that makes me feel somehow. A deep spark that leaves me confused.
“Besides I didn’t come here for you to approve, I am here to drag you back to where you belong, mate,” a shiver ran through my spine as a horror image of my fate clouded my head. I tried to absorb his words which sounded so foreign to me.
“It’s a promise,” I said. He raised his eyebrow at me in doubt. I coughed
