Chapter 91. Not Your Mate
Sheila’s POV
I stopped and immediately swirled around, but to my surprise, there was no one behind me.
“Hey! Stop hiding and come out,” I said in a tone that I am sure can send chills to the bone. My voice echoed in the hallway, but still, no presence was seen.
I scanned the hallway again, turning around and I walked inside his office slamming the door damn hard.
“Mycheww,” he let out a sigh, “Why are you here?”
“Not happy to see me.” I walked toward him and plopped on the couch. “Not happy to be here as well.”
“Why are you here?” He asked again, gritting his teeth. “Your constant visitation is going to raise suspicious brows.”
“I thought that dark magic ended years back but little did I know that it was still in existence and I believed that you know the consequences of using one or getting yourself involved in one,” his eyes widened in shock before he blinked them acting as if he had no idea what I was talking about.
