“Mother!” Lionel beamed weakly, “You are here!”

“Yes, son!” Alexa said, smiling at him tenderly.

“Yes, my son!” Camellia said hurriedly. Why would Lionel call Alexa his mother? Did she say anything to him? She walked over to where Alexa was sitting and pushed her away from the chair and sat there herself.

“Alexa, we are happy for the miracle you just performed but I’ll take it from here!” Camellia said and Hector looked at Camellia with disapproval. But he could not hide his joy at getting his son back.

“Thank you very much, Alexa,” he said. “You are a life saver, literally and figuratively,” he beamed. “You don’t know what you have done for me. I thought I was going to die with him of nothing was done. I cannot lose him, you see!” he said, a tear rolled down his cheek.
