Chapter 133. She Could Be Hiding Something

“You are going to marry our father?” Landon and Leigh exclaimed happily when Alexa broke the news to them. They could not contain themselves.

“It is what Lionel wants as his birthday gift, I just couldn’t deny him!” she explained.

“Not just Lionel, mum!” Landon said. “It is what we all want!” he gushed and Leigh was jumping up happily beside him.

Alexa didn’t have the heart to tell them, it was just a contract that was going to last for at most, three years but maybe they need not know for now!

“We have to see Lionel,” Landon said.

“We have a lot to catch up on!” Leigh said.

“Hope he is already recovered?” Landon remembered to ask. In his excitement, they had forgotten that their mother had said he had been ill.

“He is, and I know that he is as excited to share the news with you as you are to share the same with him,” Alexa said smiling. “So, I believe he will be in school today. So get ready!”
