Chapter 104. Prince of Princes

“Really, Cissy, you have to try harder,” Amira anxiously encouraged her friend.

Half an hour has passed since the birth began, and despite excruciating contractions, the Alpha Female's pup makes no move to start the final descent. Amira wipes sweat from her tired friend's forehead who is diligently trying to regulate her breathing.

“Please baby, don't make it difficult for your mother,” Cissy whispered as she caressed her stomach gently. “We really want to see you, hold and hug you tight while showering blessings onto you. Your mommy and auntie eagerly wait for the moment they can finally see you."

The midwife is extremely anxious and makes every effort to stimulate the pup's motion.

“Miss, where is the father?” she asked at one point. “I have experienced cases like this several times in my career. The pup just feels safe when its father is there during birth."

Cissy and Amira stare at the woman in shock, they had not expected this.
