“Harad, Cissy came here to kill our son. But I caught her red-handed and luckily was able to get him to safety.” Xanne fled onto my chest and clung to my shoulder. Her body shook with heartbreaking sobs while her nails dug into the flesh of my back.

Hearing this, my face scrunches up in confusion, this sounds decidedly incredulous.

I'm sure Cissy would never hurt an innocent pup. The worst thing that could be going on here is that my mate couldn't contain her curiosity and came without bothering to follow proper procedures.
