"So, Eon finally accepted your rejection," Harad breathed a sigh of triumph. "Perfect!"

“Yes! But I would still like to know what Sage Nicolas discussed with him that made him change his mind so quickly,” I mused as I snuggled against my mate's chest.

Immediately after I returned from prison, I hurried to Harad's office to share some good news with him. For a long time, I had been hesitant about rejecting Eon but today it proved an advantageous bargaining chip in persuading him to accept as one of the conditions attached to my proposal.
